Trinity United Reformed Church, St Albans

St Albans Friends of Palestine and Trinity

Trinity has for some time been a member of "St Albans Friends of Husan" which has now renamed itself as St Albans Friends of Palestine to reflect a wider campaigning role in Israel/Palestine.

Trinity has  joined Kairos Britain.  Kairos Britain is a network of Christian organisations and faith communities formed in response to the Kairos Palestine document, ‘A moment of truth’.

The network continues the work of the Christians who issued the Iona call in 2012, and the subsequent writing of its key publication ‘Time for Action’. We seek a just and lasting peace in the region based on the realisation of full human and political rights for all.

Trinity fundraises for Medical Aid for Palestinians by selling jams and chutneys, and helping the local group with street collections.

St Albans is still twinned with the Palestinian Village of Husan.  For a map to help you locate Husan, please click here. We will be finding out more about the village, the people who live there, and their current situation.

Flowers of Husan attendance register Karmel is showing us how each child's name badge is turned round when they are in attendance. this area is for playing homes and cooking Maths games - resources for number teaching the slide is the only outdoor toy at the moment as some "horses" were so popular that they have now worn out. Hopefully some of the funds that we have now transferred can be used for some new outdoor equipment.
